This week Kim Jong-un made headlines again around the world while supervising North Korean nuclear missile tests. The attire he chose to do so has social media users laughing out loud.

After a seemingly inactive period and far from public appearances at least for the western world, Kim Jong-un returned to the limelight while supervising nuclear missile tests himself. What is unusual this time is the attire he chose which has enthralled social media users.

Breaking the black outfit routine

Kim Jong-un usually shocks the world with aggressive behaviour and scandalous actions directed at his fellow countrymen in his hermit kingdom, but also with loosely coined nuclear threats towards the west and allies. He usually does so while wearing a standard black-colouredoutfit.

In his latest appearance where he has been supervising North Korean nuclear missile tests, he has chosen an unusual white outfit with a ‘safari’ type hat, which has set social media abuzz, The Economic Timesreports

The Head of the Ukraine Mobilisation Campaign in the Russian Army has been found dead at this home under mysterious circumstances.

Lt. Col. Roman Malyk (49), was responsible for enlisting men to the mobilisation campaign launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin to bolster Russian forces in Ukraine by a force of 300,000 conscripts.

Malyk was pronounced dead at his home in a village in the Russian Primorsky region, TheMirror reports.

Questionable Suicide

According to reports, the Russian official died from hanging near a fence at his home and local police have opened up a murder probe, however suicide has not been ruled out, the Hindustan Times reports

Growing resentment

Ever since the mobilisation decree was signed by Vladimir Putin in September, reports suggest that more than 220,000 men have been thus far enlisted.

Enlistment officers accompanied by local police authorities were in many cases forcibly taking up men who were resisting the conscription orders, The Times reports.

This stirred up growing resentment against conscription, the institutions, and officials fulfilling the orders.

As a result, during this period as many as 70 enlistment offices have been attacked with molotov cocktails as a token of increasing resentment in Russia against mobilisation.

King Charles III will miss the upcoming COP27 climate change summit in Egypt, CNN understands, after British media reported that Prime Minister Liz Truss advised him to drop his plans to attend.

CNN understands that the King’s attendance at COP27 had not been confirmed and following consultations with the government, there was a joint agreement that this would not be the right occasion for Charles’s first overseas visit as a sovereign.

CNN has reached out to Buckingham Palace for official comment.

King Charles attended the climate change conference as Prince of Wales in 2021. COP27 is due to take place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in November 2022.

What can the world expect from King Charles III?

Prince of Wales, Prince William, will also not be attending the climate change summit, according to Kensington Palace.

Charles has been an advocate of environmental causes for at least five decades. He was a prominent backer of the 2015 Paris Climate Accord and discussed the subject with Donald Trump in December 2019, as the then-president prepared to pull the United States out of the pact.

The following month, at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Charles gave a powerful speech, asking: “Do we want to go down in history as the people who did nothing to bring the world back from the brink in time to restore the balance when we could have done? I don’t want to.”

Despite criticism – and at times ridicule – over his fight to be the royals’ ecowarrior, Charles has continued to be a pioneer in green issues in recent years.

Divisive figure

Charles was in his element at the COP26 Summit in Glasgow in November 2021, where he implored countries to work with industries to create solutions to climate change.

“We know this will take trillions, not billions, of dollars,” he said at the time. Climate change and loss of biodiversity pose a great threat and the world must go on a “war-like footing” to combat them, he added.

US President Joe Biden commented on Charles’ decades-long efforts at the event, paying him the ultimate compliment by saying he’d got “the whole thing going” and “that’s how it all started.”

Charles has been outspoken on a whole range of sensitive issues from genetically modified crops to homeopathic medicines and architecture. It’s made him a more divisive figure than his mother, who barely cracked an expression during her reign, let alone expressed an opinion. Elizabeth’s legendary ability not to offend and alienate was more strategic than many realize, but Charles has always insisted he intends to follow her lead and stop meddling when he takes the throne.

In 2018, Charles said to the BBC: “The idea, somehow, that I’m going to go on in exactly the same way, if I have to succeed, is complete nonsense because the two – the two situations – are completely different.” When specifically asked if his campaigning would continue, he said: “No, it won’t. I’m not that stupid.”

ទន្ទឹមនោះ ការជួបប្រសព្វគ្នារវាងទ្រនុងសម្ពាធខ្ពស់ពីប្រទេសចិន (ភាគខាងជើង) និងសម្ពាធទាបដែលរុញពីក្រោមក៏មានឥទ្ធិពលលើកម្ពុជាផងដែរ។ ស្ថានភាពបែបនេះ នឹងធ្វើឱ្យភ្លៀងនៅតែបន្តធ្លាក់ជាប់ជាបន្តបន្ទាប់នៅលើផ្ទៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដោយក្នុងនោះ៖ តំបន់ទំនាបកណ្តាល អាចនឹងមានភ្លៀងក្នុងកំរិតពីតិចទៅបន្គួរ លាយឡំទៅដោយផ្គរ រន្ទះ និងខ្យល់កន្ត្រាក់។ ផ្នែកខ្លះនៃបណ្តាខេត្តនៅភាគពាយ័ព្យ និងភាគខាងងជើងជាប់ប្រទេសវៀតណាម ភ្លៀងអាចធ្លាក់ច្រើនដោយអន្លើ។

ជាមួយគ្នានេះ តំបន់ខ្ពង់រាប អាចនឹងមានភ្លៀងក្នុងកំរិតពីតិចទៅច្រើន លាយឡំទៅដោយផ្គរ រន្ទះ និងខ្យល់កន្ត្រាក់។ ចំណែកឯ តំបន់មាត់សមុទ្រ ក៏នឹងអាចមានភ្លៀងក្នុងកំរិតពីតិចទៅបង្គួរ លាយឡំទៅដោយផ្គរ រន្ទះ និងខ្យល់កន្រ្តាក់ ផងដែរ ៕
